DONATIONS
Monetary donations to the Sugar Grove Free Library can be made by cash, card, or check.
Please use the link to the left OR stop into the library and speak with a staff member to donate by card. There is a service charge with card transactions both online and here. We're working on how you can opt in to help us cover that, but we don't have it figured out yet. We won't force it on you! Just know we get a bit less of your intended donation when doing the transaction by card.
Donations by cash or check can be made in person or mailed to:

MEMORIALS
If you would like to honor a loved one by donating to the library, we offer a memorial and honor program.
The memorial program allows patrons to donate funds in memory of a loved one and specify what those funds should be used for.
Honorary donations can celebrate a milestone such as a birthday, graduation, retirement, or anniversary!
Suggestions may be made as to what funds are used for to suit the interests/hobbies of the individual being recognized, to include library materials of various formats on a specific topic of interest to the honored individual, library furnishings or technology, outdoor appointments (landscaping, outdoor furniture, etc.).

DONATING MATERIALS
Donation of materials to the library is welcome, unless we have placed notice that we are full and unable to take additional donations (we are tiny!!). Hardcover and paperback books, DVDs and CDs, Vinyl records, puzzles and games are all welcome (please note if you are aware of missing pieces!)
We ask that items be clean and in decent condition, and cannot take textbooks, test preparation books or reference books more than a couple years old (exception for local community history items).
Donations are considered for possible addition to circulating collection, book sale or other fundraisers, give-away at community events, etc.
Please note! When you store books away, consider the conditions and know that if they are exposed to high humidity or dampness they are likely to be unusable later. Consider donating them before you store them in the basement, shed, or garage OR take them to Mortenson's recycling sooner than later. (yes, he takes them!) Please don't use the library as your recycling service because "I can't bring myself to throw away a book". Think of it this way: "would I gift this to someone I know?"
