Learning at the Library: Tri-State Goat Meeting, Tuesday, September 24, 6:00 pm
In the month of September Adrienne Ploss will give a presentation on how to put your gardens to bed on the 24th at 6:00 pm. Adrienne Ploss is a horticulturist who owns her own landscape business. In addition, she owns and operates Hickory Hurst Farm, a fourth-generation family farm that grows certified organic cut flower, herbs, and produce near Chautauqua, NY.
Lego Club: Wednesday, September 25 from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm
Come build a Lego creation that we can put on display for several weeks.
Block Party: Tuesday, September 10 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Our Block Parties consist of a variety of blocks in different shapes and sizes which the children and their parents can use to build and create while interacting with each other.
Board Meeting: Tuesday, September 10 starting at 7:00 pm
Our board consists of 7 volunteers with various different jobs throughout the library. Our board meetings are open to the public and they usually last from one to two hours.
Movie Night: Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00 to 7:00 pm
Movie night consists of one movie & lots of yummy pizza from the Bucket and lemonade.
Lit Wit Book Club: Monday, September 30 at 6:30 pm
The Book Club meets once a month. Each month a member selects a book to discuss, lead the discussion, and bring a treat to the meeting. This month’s book is “Zero Waste Home” (The Ultimate Guide to Simplifying Your Life by Reducing Your Waste by Bea Johnson. Copies are available at the library and new members are always welcome.
